ARETHUSA Class

light cruiser

AURORA served with the Royal Navy during the First World War. She was the first RN ship in action at the Battle of Dogger Bank in 1915, and was present for the German High Seas Fleet surrender in 1918. Turned over the the RCN, she was paid off within two years and disarmed. She was sold in 1927 for scrap.
