HMCS MIRIMICHI (3rd) served on the West Coast as a part of Training
Group Pacific until recently. The minesweeping gear can be seen on the
quarterdeck, and a 40mm Bofors can be seen just aft of the funnel. This
gun was removed when she joined the training group. DND photo, Courtesy
of Dave Shirlaw. |
 |
HMCS FUNDY (3rd). Note that the gun has been removed, and the minesweeping
gear is nowhere in evidence. DND photo, Courtesy of Dave Shirlaw. |
