Dekanisora was an Onondaga chief noted for his oratorical prowess.

Dekanisora (YT-252), formerly BYT-4, was acquired by the Navy in 1942 to be employed in the 1st and 5th Naval Districts. She was reclassified YTB-252 on 15 May 1944. She remains in active service in the 5th Naval District.
