Corporation
A body of persons legally associated for the transaction of
business.
Corporation, a schooner of two guns, was purchased at
Philadelphia, Pa., in 1814 and soon after was put into use as a
receiving ship. She continued with this duty until September 1820
when she was ordered sold because she could no longer be kept afloat.
